Why do cats kneed? In this article, we tell you, and show you an adorable video selection of a true master.
Most pet owners love it when their pet starts to knead. Which is understandable, because one of the reasons our purring pets start kneeding the dough is because they’re having a great time. For example, it’s common when they’re being stroked, not just by purring but also by kneading to let us know that they are relaxed and feeling safe. This cat in the picture below is kneading like a real baker!
The creative owner has created various decorations around their pet, so the kneading cat looks as if they have been caught in the act of baking a pizza.
The cat in the picture is clearly not bothered by the decorations, which fortunately are mostly placed around them, not on top of them, and are based on a soft cushion that the cat loves to handle.
Because dressing up in a costume is much less acceptable for our pets, be they cats or dogs. Most animals can’t stand being dressed up! Of course, we’re not talking about functional clothing, such as post-operative or cold-proof clothing, but about costumes and accessories of all kinds. Our companion animals really don’t need these!
If you want to show your love for your cat, spend time with them; play with them, pet and massage them, teach them tricks. They will thank you for your time! According to the recommendations you should spend at least 4×10 minutes a day concentrating on your cat to keep them mentally and emotionally healthy. You can even extend their lifespan!
There is one more important point to make, and that is that cats don’t necessarily make biscuits for pleasure.
Sometimes they use it as a stress reliever.
But your cat’s body language and circumstances will make it clear which state your pet is in.
